Crimson Desert: Vault of Vengeance Guide

As you explore the Abyss in Crimson Desert, you will encounter many challenging puzzles. Each of these puzzles require you to restore a part of the Abyss, rewarding you with an Abyss Artifact.

Due to the game's strict nature of not holding your hand, there is little to no guidance on how to solve many of the game's puzzles. A prime example is the Vault of Vengeance, a strange vault that is sealed shut, containing a valuable item inside.

If you are having trouble getting into the Vault of Vengeance or solving its puzzle, this guide has everything you need to know. Read further to learn how to complete the Vault of Vengeance in Crimson Desert.

How to Unlock the Vault of Vengeance

When you first reach the Vault of Vengeance in Crimson Desert, you will encounter a holographic wall, preventing you from reaching the vault itself.

The first objective here is to get rid of the holographic wall, which you can do by grabbing the two nearby power cubes and placing them in the slots next to the wall.

The power cubes are easy to find as they are shown on your minimap, represented by a small white icon. One is located on the right side of the sky platform, and the other is located on the left. Use Axiom Force to grab each and place it into the slots.

Once you have both power cubes in their correct slots, the holographic wall will disappear, and you can proceed toward the entrance to the Vault of Vengeance. Next, use your bow to shoot the symbols on the left and right sides of the vault to officially open it.

Vault of Vengeance Puzzle Solution

Now that you are inside the Vault of Vengeance, you must complete its puzzle to obtain the Abyss Artifact. When you first enter the vault, you'll encounter a series of lasers and a podium with a sword in the middle. To get rid of these lasers and unlock the sword, you need to shoot the targets with symbols near the top of the room.

However, in order to do this correctly, you need to unlock Focused Shot on the left side of the skill tree. The reason you need Focused Shot is because the symbols are timed, and you need to hit all the targets all at once.

With Focused Shot unlocked, aim your bow and activate the ability, then press the mark button. Once each target is marked, release the arrow to hit all the targets. You can now approach the podium in the middle and claim the Golden Sword.

After picking up the sword, the podium will lower to the bottom floor of the vault. It's here where you will meet a hallway filled with lasers, which requires you to dodge roll through the laser's openings to reach the other side.

Once you reach the other side, use Axiom Force on the floating power cell, place it in the slot, and then use Force Palm to punch it into the slot. Next, stand on the teleporter to be transported back outside.

The last step in solving the Vault of Vengeance puzzle is to return power to the main cog. You can do this by using Axiom Force to grab the battery on the right side, placing it in its spot, and then using Force Palm to punch it into place.

Last but not least, climb to the center of the cog and use Force Palm on it to officially turn the power back on. Doing so will cause an Abyss Artifact to appear on the higher level, so climb up and make your way over to it to claim it.
