So, you might be thinking that there must be a pretty rad reward for getting every single one of the Pink Coins in Chapter 5 of Deltarune. On one hand, yes, but on the other… no.

The Flowery Scarf is a special item obtained after completing a huge number of tasks within Chapter 5; however, it doesn’t exactly have much use at this moment in time. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be important in later chapters of Deltarune.

If you’re a bit of a completionist and want to exhaust everything there is to do in this most recent chapter, then listen up and let’s take a look at how to get our hands on this fashionable piece of neck protection.

Collecting the Pink Coins

Deltarune Pink Door Feature

There are 19 Pink Coins in total, and collecting each will take you all over the Flower world. The first thing you’ll need to do is grab 10 Pink Coins, and then go and buy the mystery Key from the Shop up on the Cliffs.

Once you have the Key, you can take it to the huge pink door at the Top of the Castle and then challenge the boss within. Pink is the Secret Boss of the Chapter, and she doesn’t pull any punches, so make sure you have a ton of healing items for the fight!

After defeating this boss, you’ll notice the large Hammer guy sitting outside. He will help you locate any Pink Coins that you’re currently missing. At this point, you should head back into the world and scavenge up the rest of the coins. Once you have 19, return to this point and head into the new room north of the Hammer NPC.

The Flower Items and the Flowery Scarf

Deltarune Pillars

Upon entering this new room, you’ll find yourself surrounded by 6 pillars, each with a special item on top, representing each of the flowers. Each item costs 3 pink coins, and due to the fact that you only have 9 more, you can only pick 3 of them.

Here are the items and their effects:

  • Aqua Knife - This helps Kris get Critical Hits more easily.
  • Yellow Hat - This improves the effectiveness of spells by 20%
  • Blue Shoes - This makes Ralsei's Pacify Spell cost 0 TP when equipped
  • Orange Glove - This reduces the cost of Susie’s Scythemare Spell
  • Green Apron - This will allow you to restore some of your HP when you defend
  • Seth Specs - These increase the duration of your invincibility window after taking damage

Once you’ve made your choice, you will find yourself in a new room where Flowery awaits. Here you can pick up the Flowery Scarf for a single Flowery Dollar! What a steal!

While this item does have 70 in all its stats, making it ridiculously broken, you can’t actually equip it because Ralsei hates Flowery. What a buzzkill, right?

After defeating Flowery in the final section of the chapter, you’ll find that the scarf is broken. Will this have an impact on future chapters? Who is to say? We will have to wait and see for chapter 6 in 2027!
