There's definitely no shortage of ways to help your farm flourish in Fields of Mistria, thanks to its incredibly diverse variety of crops, livestock, and all the tools (such as the Auto Feeder) that help everything run more smoothly. The game's Fourth Major Update (0.15.0) has provided many of those convenient items for players, but there's one that you probably didn't expect.
That would be the first-ever Tesserae Tree, which is an especially unique plant that, literally, grows you money. However, the path to getting one of those trees is a long and fairly meticulous one. If you're wondering what's involved, here's how to get a Tesserae Tree in Fields of Mistria and how it works.

How to Unlock Tesserae Tree in Fields of Mistria
Hopefully you've been keeping up with your donations to the Museum, because to unlock the Tesserae Tree in Fields of Mistria, you first need to complete the entire Flora Wing of the Museum.
If you're new to this feature of the game, the Museum is a location in The Narrows region of the map (northwest of town, where the Mines are). It's managed by Errol, who lets you donate any qualifying artifacts you find to the museum's collection. In return, you'll receive Renown points at the end of that same day for your contributions.
The museum's collection is divided into four main categories (or Wings): Archaeology, Fish, Flora, and Insects. Each of these Wings is further subdivided into "sets". For example, in the Insects Wing, there are sets for Insects you can only catch during certain seasons or biomes (e.g. - Summer Insect Set, Rare Insect Set, Deep Woods Insect Set). When you complete a set, you'll receive unique rewards such as furniture, meals, crafting recipes, etc.
For the Tesserae Tree, you need to fill every single set of the Flora Wing, and there's a total of 18 sets to complete. These include crops and foraging across all seasons and biomes, so it'll take you some time.
To help make things easier, below is a comprehensive list of all Flora sets and how to complete them.

How to Grow and Harvest Tesserae Tree in Fields of Mistria
Once you've filled every single set in the Flora Wing in the Museum, you'll receive a potted Tesserae Tree as a reward for all your contributions. This is currently the only way to get one of these trees, meaning you can't grow, purchase, or otherwise obtain more of them Tesserae Trees. However, that may change in future patches of the game, and this guide will be promptly updated if that's the case.
As for how the Tesserae Tree works, as it's a potted plant, you can place it indoors. You can harvest 100 x Tesserae every three days from it, meaning it's absolutely not the most lucrative means of earning money in the game (or even close, sadly). However, it's not necessarily a bad thing to wake up to a bit of free Tesserae a couple days a week, and if nothing else, it makes for a special, sparkling set piece in your home.
