Getting Started

In order to get started building Wishvale, you'll need to progress through the game's prologue section. Square knows what they're up to, as they really work overtime to make you care about Wishvale and its residents before wiping it off the map.

After the prologue, Wishvale will be nothing but rubble. Once you speak to Stia after it's over, she'll set you on your way with the simple task of clearing the debris away. You can't rebuild if the place is still a mess, after all.

As Stia reminisces about her father, wondering if it's as good as his was. It's rather impressive for your first structure, including a place to rest if need be.

Once you've completed the workshop, your next step is recruiting some people to help. Travel to the location the game guides you to, where you can use the game's Invite system to get Tyme to join you back at Wishvale.

Expanding Wishvale

Wishvale can't just survive on one little patch of grass, of course. In order to thrive, it needs more people, more buildings, more land. More everything, really.

In order to accomplish this, you'll need to progress in the game's main story. Specifically, completing Kindlers of the Flame, Chapter 2 will unlock the fields.

In order to fully expand Wishvale, the main story will push your quest ahead further. Stay the course, keep gathering supplies and inviting people.

Before you know it, Wishvale will become the most outstanding village in all of Osterra.
