The land of Pokémon Pokopia has seen much better days. Like most cozy titles, this one starts you off with nothing, and you must clean up the ground around you and rebuild what was once there.

One of the key buildings in the game is the Pokémon Center — a staple in any Pokémon game. It has crumbled to the ground, and it is up to you to take care of it, rebuilding it in the process.

Do you have what it takes to rebuild the Pokémon Center in Pokémon Pokopia? Let's break down how to get the job done.

What Materials Are Required?

To build a structure in Pokémon Pokopia, you need various materials and several Pokémon to help get the job done. First, let's break down the materials you need for this crafting project.

Four materials are required to rebuild the Pokémon Center:

  • 20 Lumber
  • 20 Stones
  • 10 Leaves
  • 10 Vine Ropes

First, you will need to collect lumber. To do this, you will first need to get some small logs. These are obtained by using the cut ability on debris and trees. Once you have logs, bring them to Scyther, and they will turn your logs into lumber. Keep in mind, this will take a few minutes.

Second, you will need stones. These are easy to obtain, as you can find them sprinkled around the ground. Simply pick them up when you come across them. You can also obtain stones by using the rock smash ability on rock surfaces.

Third is the leaves. Instead of finding these on the ground, you will obtain them by pulling plants. Plants will be sticking up around the area. Simply pull them to obtain some leaves.

Finally, you will need to get vine ropes. These can be found on the ground around a Shaded Tree Habitat. This is the same habitat from which you will obtain Bellsprout.

Along with this, you will be required to purchase the Pokémon Center Rebuilding Kit from the PC for 1,000 coins.

In addition to these materials, you will need several Pokémon to aid you in rebuilding the Pokémon Center. You will need the following Pokémon:

  • A Pokémon with the Bulldoze specialty (Onix)
  • A Pokémon with the Build specialty (Timburr)
  • A Pokémon with the Chop specialty (Scyther)
  • Goomy
  • Vespiquen
  • Hitmonlee
  • Drifloon
  • Bellsprout

First, Onix is obtained by freeing them from their rocky prison inside the nearby cave. This requires multiple steps, including making Slowpoke yawn to make it start raining.

Timburr is a Pokémon that you will obtain early in the game, and one that you should have from when you built your home. Scyther is also obtained early in the game from a Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat.

Goomy should appear after you make a Rain Dance Party habitat, and it has started raining. Vespiquen appears in flower field habitats. You should have built one during the process of freeing Onix.

Hitmonlee is found next to Urgent Care habitats. You can obtain information about this habitat from the PC. Drifloon is found on the beach and likes the Riding Warm Updrafts habitat.

Finally, Bellsprout will appear in Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitats, just like Scyther. It might take a minute for this Pokémon to appear.

Once you have found all these Pokémon, you can bring them all to the Pokémon Center to help rebuild it. Rebuilding the Pokémon Center will take a day, so keep this in mind before you begin the process.
