There are plenty of weapons for you and your friends to choose from in No Rest for the Wicked, and each of these weapons requires you to have specific stats to wield them. Perhaps there is a weapon that you want to try, but you didn't allocate your stats correctly.

No Rest for the Wicked: Crafting Guide
Learn how to craft your weapons and armor in No Rest for the Wicked.
Luckily, like any good Soulslike game, you can respec your characters, allowing you to reallocate your stat points. This way, you can try out the large variety of weapons in the game without needing to make a new character.
Let's break down how to respec your character in No Rest for the Wicked.
Unlocking Character Respec
When you start No Rest for the Wicked, you won't have access to the character respec menu, but as you progress through the story, collecting keys, and making your way to Sacrament, you will gain a few levels.
During this time, you may want to be a bit selective about what stats you allocate points to with each of your levels, as you won't be able to respec your character for a while.
After you reach Sacrament and have unlocked the full city, you can access an area in the northwest of the city called the Crucible. This location is great for many things, one of which being a location where you can farm Embers and Research Papers.
The Crucible is unlocked as part of the Spoken and Unspoken questline given to you by Elsa. Once you have access to the Crucible, you can choose to complete runs at any time.
During your runs in the Crucible, you will collect an item called Gloamseeds by completing rooms and killing enemies. These are used to upgrade the Crucible.
Whenever you reach the fifth floor of a Crucible run, you will meet a being called the Seneschal. He is an ancient being that can aid you in the game.
Interact with this being and choose the upgrade option to feed him Gloamseeds. You will see the option in this menu called the Iron Corpus.
Unlocking the Iron Corpus will cost you 20 Gloamseeds, so you will probably need to run the Crucible a few times to unlock it. This will add a statue to the main hall of the Crucible that will allow you to reallocate your stat points.
This upgrade is permanent and does not need to be bought multiple times to respec your character. Friends can also use this statue while in your world.
Reallocating Your Stats Via the Iron Corpus
After you have unlocked the Iron Corpus in the Crucible, you will see it in the main room across from the pedestal that starts the run on the bottom level. It is also near the Whisper.
Simply walk up to the Iron Corpus and interact with it to bring up the menu to reallocate your points. In this menu, you can remove points from one stat and add them to another.
Unfortunately, there is a bit of a restriction on this system. For every 10 points that you reallocate, you will need to spend one Fallen Ember.
Since Fallen Embers are rare resources, I recommend holding onto them so that you can use them in case you need to reallocate your points or change an enchantment on an item.
