The Bluemont Manor strongbox puzzles in Crimson Desert are likely the first two you'll find in this colossal open-world game, and while the mechanics are fairly simple, they're not easy to solve. One involves pushing a bunch of cylinders while the other is all about rotating blocks to make a complete picture. You can eventually brute force it with trial and error, but we have both solutions for you here instead, along with the rewards you can earn.
Chances are, you'll find these when meeting Leon Roberts for the first time, as Bluemont Manor is his residence. Here's a guide on how to complete both strongbox puzzles in Bluemont Manor in Crimson Desert.
Northern Bluemont Manor strongbox puzzle solution

You're presented with four buttons, with each one controlling a different selection of the rotating boards above. Here is the most efficient solution:
- Press the second button from the left three times.
- Press the fourth button once.
- Press the third button four times.
- Press the second button once.
- Press the first button four times.
This should result in the full picture being completed, which will unlock the door holding the reward: the Oath of Darkness earring. However, to pick it up, you'll need to know how to steal, as you are technically pilfering something that doesn't belong to you.
Southern Bluemont Manor strongbox puzzle solution

In this one, artwork of a mountain range beneath a night sky is displayed, with five cylinders beneath it. There is a rotating wheel beneath each cylinder.
Your goal is to wind up each cylinder enough so that when you press the button on the right-hand side, the joint in the middle of each between the bronze and the silver matches up with the line between the artwork and the wood on the strongbox, as displayed in the image above.
From left to right, here is how many times you must scroll each wheel:
- First wheel: five scrolls
- Second wheel: two scrolls
- Third wheel: four scrolls
- Fourth wheel: three scrolls
- Fifth wheel: five scrolls
Press the button once done and the strongbox will open up, rewarding you with a finely crafted gold necklace.
There are plenty more strongbox puzzles to be solved throughout Crimson Desert, some of which use the same techniques found here, so keep your eyes open for them.
