Although several women can be pursued, the game still follows a central storyline. Characters are closely connected through friendships, family ties, and rivalries, so romantic choices, lies, and alliances can affect how others treat the MC. Season 1 ends on an intriguing cliffhanger that immediately makes players want to discover what happens next.

Cheating, lying, or choosing between closely connected characters can lead to confrontations, breakups, and permanently lost relationships. Intertwined was one of the most anticipated adult visual novels to arrive on Steam and has easily become one of the standout titles in the genre. Season 1 delivers a long and captivating story across Alvarado and Madison Springs, supported by rich dialogue and carefully placed flashbacks that reveal the MC’s childhood, his years with his father, and the events that continue to shape his present. Its choice-based gameplay goes far beyond simply selecting a favorite romance.

While the main plot remains largely consistent, friendships, romances, confrontations, and intimate scenes can change considerably depending on the MC’s behavior. This is not a consequence-free harem: lies eventually surface, cheating can permanently destroy relationships, and seemingly minor decisions may unlock new scenes or close off opportunities much later. The women are easily one of the game’s greatest strengths. Each has her own personality, vulnerabilities, history, and connections to the rest of the cast, making every relationship feel like another thread woven into the same story. Valeria is a particular standout, and despite having only five scenes, her personality and interactions with the MC leave a stronger impression than characters with considerably more screen time.
