By the time the credits rolled in Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, there were several big questions left open for Life Is Strange fans, chief being the fate of Chloe Price. A new game, Life is Strange: Reunion, seeks to answer that by reuniting Max and Chloe for one last time-bending adventure.

Announced Tuesday on Xbox Wire, ahead of a Life Is Strange livestream hosted by publisher Square Enix (and after the game leaked via its PEGI rating), Reunion will pick up sometime after Double Exposure and serve as "the thrilling finale to the Max and Chloe saga, a chapter that brings their book to a close."

And in a series first, Max and Chloe are playable co-leads of the next Life is Strange. Max still has her Rewind ability, but her time-altering powers have evolved. According to Andrew James, senior brand manager for Life is Strange, Max finds that after leaping into a Polaroid photograph to escape a fire, "that she is able to stay in that past, starting all over again from the point she took a selfie."

Chloe, on the other hand, can use the power of Backtalk to "browbeat her opponents during key conversations" and explore areas of Caledon University that Max can't — "she can go where Max can’t, ask what she wouldn’t, and say the things that would never cross Max’s mind," James says.

More details are being revealed in Square Enix's Life is Strange livestream.

Life Is Strange: Reunion will be released on March 26 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
