Captain America Seaside Sentinel Summer Skin Marvel Rivals Season 8

Marvel Rivals is notorious for its selection of revealing and asset-enhancing skins. Naturally, with a batch of new swimsuit costumes coming to the Marvel superhero shooter for summertime, developer NetEase Games was bound to get a little risqué. Surprisingly, though, it's Steve Rogers' new beachwear that's drawing the most attention, because Captain America is packing.

In further proof that the Super Soldier serum offers more than just enhanced strength and speed, Cap's new Seaside Sentinel skin shows that Steve Rogers is capable of wielding Mjölnir — or at least comfortably smuggling it in his red, white, and blue singlet.

Modeled after Cap's swimsuit as seen in 1992's Marvel Swimsuit Special, illustrated by Joe Phillips and Karl Story, Captain America's new Epic skin is available in Marvel Rivals until July 31. As the skin is described in-game, "The beach crew voted Captain America should man the grill, just like the red, white, and blue-blooded specimen of American masculinity people believe he is. Unfortunately, his skills on the grill were not nearly as calculated as his shield throws."

From certain angles, Captain America's new swimwear appears perfectly tame. But from others, it's clear that special attention was given to Steve Rogers' American flagpole.

Equipped for battle, indeed.

However impressive Cap's crotch is, he's also stacked in the back, as one can see in the following showcase for the Seaside Sentinel skin.

Cap's Liefeldian anatomy is tamed somewhat by this patriotic pool toy, but Marvel Rivals fans have certainly stood up and taken notice of the Super Soldier's new skin.
