After about eight months since the LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International announced their partnership in March 2025 to produce Pokémon-themed LEGO sets, the two companies have finally revealed the first wave of Pokémon LEGO sets coming soon in late February.
Specifically, these first few LEGO sets will launch on Friday, February 27th, to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, which launched the same day in Japan in 1996 on the Nintendo Game Boy.

This isn't the first time Pokémon has been adapted into toy brick form before, as in 2004, Pokémon was adapted into Mega Bloks with the Build 'n Battle toy line, while in 2017 Pokémon was adapted into several Mega Construx sets.
Now Pokémon will finally join Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing and more as one of the many Nintendo franchises to be adapted into LEGO for fans across the globe.
Pokémon's Upcoming LEGO Sets Explained
The first wave of Pokémon LEGO sets will include five sets all centered around Pokémon, locations, and items from Pokémon Generation I.
These include:
- A 587-piece set of Eevee that will cost $59.99.
- A 2,050-piece set of Pikachu with a Poke Ball that will cost $199.99.
- A 6,838-piece set of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise that will cost $649.99.
- A 312-piece set of the Kanto Region Gym Badge Collection.
- A 233-piece set of a Mini Pokémon Center.
All of these sets are currently available for pre-order and will later be available for purchase separately in stores, save for the Kanto Region Gym Badge Collection and the Mini Pokémon Center.
lego.comThe Badge Collection will only be available as a gift with purchase when buying the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set from LEGO.com or LEGO stores from Friday, February 27th till Tuesday, March 3rd.
Meanwhile, the Mini Pokémon Center set will only be available online as a Brick reward when LEGO Insiders members redeem 2,500 LEGO Insiders points.
