If you're the kind of person who gets a little embarrassed when you see the kind of things people are making in games while you're struggling to construct basic housing, look away. A Pokémon Pokopia player created a fully working subway system in the game with a ridiculous level of detail.

In Pokémon Pokopia, the charming life sim from the brains behind Dragon Quest Builders, players have a lot of space to create. It's not just a matter of placing items down, but terraforming environments and rebuilding them block by block. That's exactly what Reddit user Anko_Aniki pulled off in Rocky Ridges. The volcano area is tricky to navigate initially due to the fact that it has a system of underground caves. Notably, there's a museum hidden somewhere deep in those caves, but it's far away from the town's entrance. Anko_Aniki's solution? Installing a subway line between the two points.

In a 30-second video shared to the Pokopia subreddit, Anko_Aniki gives a quick tour of their creation. It begins with a proper subway entrance that takes their Ditto into a tiled underground zone lined with florescent lights. Everything you'd expect to see at a subway stop is inside. There are turnstiles that open when you walk near them, repurposed arcade machines that look like ticket booths, vending machines, trash cans, posters on the wall, and even a pipe running across the ceiling. It's a dead ringer for a New York City subway stop, except for the fact that it's clean.

It doesn't just look like a subway station, though. It's a functional transportation hub. There's a mine cart railway inside that goes all the way from the station to the museum. (The video cuts off before they arrive, but I'm dying to see if there's another subway stop on the other side.) It's a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to simply digging a big, unsightly tunnel and calling it a day.

The subway station is just one example of what people are already doing with Pokopia after a few short weeks. Players have created everything from working calculators to Final Fantasy 7's airship. Meanwhile, I'm still stuffing my pals into pink huts. Consider this an invitation for all of us to up our game.
