You will soon be able to experience Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar not just on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, taking the best and most recent entry in the series to new horizons. Marvelous Inc. broke the news with a new trailer for the upcoming release.

The modern remake of Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar received well-deserved praise last year, with the structured plot, goals, and bazaar economy standing out on the road to local market fame.

While cozy games aren’t limited to handheld consoles, the genre is still closely associated with them, especially in terms of major releases. You can blame a generation of Tom Nook victims with Stockholm syndrome for that.

Grand Bazaar might not have anywhere near the marketing pull as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and I doubt we’ll be hearing of anyone buying an Xbox Series X|S or a PlayStation 5 just to play it, but this is a positive step in completing libraries far and wide. There ain’t nothing out there like planting crops till you drop and timing your baths every 8 hours to get extra energy.

When is the Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar Coming to PS5 and Xbox?

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is set to come out for PlayStation 5 and Xbox on May 28th. While specifics like storage space required for each console have not been released yet, the standard edition will retail on digital storefronts for $49.99.

The depth and art style of Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar more than justify the effort.

You can also order the Digital Deluxe edition with the Trunk of Transformation cosmetic DLC for $59.99, and the Super Digital Deluxe Edition with an added digital soundtrack and a digital art book is priced at $69.99. All digital editions will be available with the “Cow Set” cosmetic DLC as a purchase bonus.
