Trembling Woods puzzle location in Crimson Desert

The Trembling Woods is a region southwest of The Ironwood and north of the Willow River. Just south of the Trembling Gorge and Galepully, you'll find a mysterious energy, which is the question mark found on the map. Here, you'll encounter a large golden disc and three turning wheels in front of it. The right and the middle wheels have handles you can use to rotate them. The left wheel will have no handles, making it seemingly impossible to turn. However, it's possible if you have the Stab skill unlocked.

By completing this puzzle, a door will open to an abyss cresset, unlocking a new fast travel station.

If you just want an initial tip: the golden disc is split into three layers. On one of them, there are white symbols that look a bit incomplete.

How to solve the Trembling Woods puzzle in Crimson Desert

Finding the answer to the Trembling Woods puzzle requires testing and spending time rotating the wooden wheels. If you want to complete it as quickly as possible, follow the steps below.

While facing the disc:

1. Move the right mechanism clockwise so the white icons are aligned with the inner circle, completing the images.
2. Move the middle mechanism counterclockwise until the largest gold circle in the middle layer aligns with the star-like symbol.
3. Use Stab (R1/RB and Y/Triangle or left shift and left-click) on the left wheel to stick your blade into it and move it clockwise for the top layer's two circles to align with the other symbols.

With all the layers in their correct positions, a short animation will play and the water in front of you will drain, revealing a door on the lower level. Drop down to collect the abyss cresset and unlock the fast travel station.
