Honkai: Star Rail's 4.1 patch is coming soon, with Ashveil making his playable debut. This patch will also continue Planarcadia's story with a special festival themed around the Astral Express taking place — which is why there's a wacky inflatable arm Cocolia wiggling around.

Below, we explain when Honkai: Star Rail maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 4.1. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Honkai: Star Rail version 4.1.

What time does Honkai: Star Rail go down for maintenance?

Honkai: Star Rail will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, March 24 or Wednesday, March 25 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

  • 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, March 24 for the west coast of North America
  • 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 24 for the east coast of North America
  • 7 p.m. BRT on Tuesday, March 24 for Brazil
  • 10 p.m. GMT on Tuesday, March 24 for the U.K.
  • 11 p.m. CET on Tuesday, March 24 for western Europe
  • 7 a.m. JST on Wednesday, March 25 for Japan
  • 9 a.m. AEDT on Wednesday, March 25 for the east coast of Australia

Make sure to burn your fuel before maintenance starts, if you want to, but you may want to keep some of it since the new battle pass will start right after the patch goes live.

What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 4.1 start?

Honkai: Star Rail should come back from maintenance with the 4.1 version at the following times:

  • 8 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, March 24 for the west coast of North America
  • 11 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 24 for the east coast of North America
  • 12 a.m. BRT on Wednesday, March 25 for Brazil
  • 3 a.m. GMT on Wednesday, March 25 for the U.K.
  • 4 a.m. CET on Wednesday, March 25 for western Europe
  • 12 p.m. JST on Wednesday, March 25 for Japan
  • 2 p.m. AEDT on Wednesday, March 25 for the east coast of Australia

The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 4.1 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good at abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!

What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 4.1?

The Phantasmoon Games are continuing on Planarcadia and this patch gives us Ashveil, the detective we met earlier, as a playable character. Ashveil is a Lightning Hunt character, breaking the back-to-back string of Elation characters we've been seeing. Notably, this patch will only be four weeks long, so we'll be getting version 4.2 (and anniversary content) sooner than expected.
