Where to Find All Raccoon Memoriam Statues in Resident Evil Requiem

2 hours ago 1

Resident Evil Requiem, in true Resident Evil fashion, is full of all kinds of collectibles, ranging from the Files you can read, the Hip Pouches that expand your inventory, and — the most pesky of them all — Mr. Raccoon Memoriam Statues.

These little dancing statues are a direct callback to Resident Evil Outbreak, where you end up going to the zoo. Mr. Raccoon is the mascot of the zoo, so it was a nice Easter Egg to see him return in Requiem. You don't just collect him when you see him, though, you break him.

Inventory space is absolutely crucial in Resident Evil games, especially in Requiem. Thankfully, we can help you expand that space with Hip Pouches.

You'll see him in various spots throughout the game, starting in Rhodes Hill (so don't worry about Wrenwood) all the way until the end. There are 25 in total, and breaking all of them will earn you the trophy You Little Rascal!

There are a lot of spots where he's hanging around that are easy to miss, but don't worry, we've got you covered.

This will be organized by location, and, as best as possible, in the order in which the statues are meant to be obtained, but very simply, it can be completely random when you find one.

This article will also avoid spoilers for the game's story, but there will be some minor spoilers for the game's happenings.

All Rhodes Hill Mr. Raccoon Memoriam Statues

Statue 1 — Rehabilitation Ward Hallway

The first Mr. Raccoon Memoriam Statue is basically guaranteed to be the first for everyone, the one that gets them started on the hunt for the little guys. Destroying your first one will give you the trophy, The Hunt Begins, which will set you on your course towards that coveted platinum trophy.

This one is located on top of a fireplace right outside the Rehabilitation Ward, right after basically fighting for your life in there. You'll hear the distinct little dancing sounds and watch him do his thing, sitting on top of a paper that says: "Hunt us, seek us! Find us, break us!"

You can break them however you want (my go-to is the Hatchet), but once you start, there's no other option but to finish.

Statue 2 — East Wing Lobby

After obtaining the East Wing Keycard from the Medication Room (located in the Save Room), unlock the East Wing and head into the East Wing Lobby; you can find him doing his little dancey dance on top of the receptionist's desk. He's out in the open, so he won't be hard to miss.

Statue 3 — East Wing Stairway

While still in the East Wing, cut through the Waiting Room and head towards the stairs. Don't go up yet, because this little guy is actually dancing right next to the grandfather clock. He's just standing on the end table, not hidden away or anything, so he's another simple one.

Discovering all these crates in Raccoon City will grant you the Crate Expectations trophy, and we know exactly where to find them all.

Statue 4 — Kitchenette

When you're backtracking up through the Office and Kitchenette, you'll notice that as soon as you turn into the Kitchenette, you'll see Mr. Raccoon, dancing on top of the coffee maker. He wants you to confuse him as decoration, but don't fall for his schemes; destroy him without mercy.

Statue 5 — Medication Room

After you obtain the Level 3 Clearance Wristband, you can finally unlock both doors in the Medicine Room. Don't unlock Emily's first, though; that will start a cutscene. Go to the other cell and open that first, and you'll find our first decently-hidden Mr. Raccoon, dancing semi-under the bed, right by the frame.

He can hide his position, but he can't hide the rattling sound he makes as he's doomed to dance until he's destroyed.

Statue 6 — Records Room

You will likely hear him dancing in this wardrobe as Grace, but you won't be able to open it as the wood is completely warped. Only Leon can open and access them with his Hatchet.

With that in mind, when you're playing as Leon, remember to double back to the Records Room so you can open the wardrobe and finally destroy the little bugger.

What's creepier than a dead body? A dead body with no organs. What's creepier than that? Having to find and insert those organs into the corpse.

Statue 7 — Basement Workshop

When you get your first joint plug in the basement, you're able to bring power to the Workshop immediately across from it. There, you will see the next Mr. Raccoon dancing on the workbench. He must love woodworking in his spare time.

Statue 8 — Basement Bunkroom

While still in the basement, you're also able to power on the Bunkroom with the joint plug. Once inside, you'll be able to find him dancing on top of a TV emitting static.

Statue 9 — Private Lab

While you're looking for the helicopter key, you'll find the next Mr. Raccoon dancing on a desk in the Private Lab. He's pretty out in the open, just happy to be here.

Statue 10 — Sniper Section

You know the tense section where you're having to watch over Grace with a sniper rifle from the rooftops? You're going to have to sacrifice her for this one, but don't worry, it'll pick up right back at the rooftop.

When you're at the vantage point, turn a hard left and aim towards a light, you'll see him dancing on the block. It's so easy to completely pass him, especially since he doesn't show up on the Rhodes Hill map. So if this was the last one you found, there's no shame — it was the last one I found, too.

All Raccoon City Mr. Raccoon Memoriam Statues

Statue 11 — Bus

While you're walking around and about in Raccoon City at any point in time while you're trying to get the detonator parts, you'll be able to hear this one dancing in a wrecked bus. He's in the driver's seat, which has hilarious implications.

Statue 12 — Bridge Top

Either immediately after you activate the elevator, or whenever you're at the Central Camp, right across the warehouse is an elevated road/bridge. You'll be able to see him dancing on top of one of the cars — you'll likely hear him before you find him, and the map would lead you towards the hallowed out tank — but do not be fooled. He is above.

Statue 13 — Gas Station

While you're getting fuel at the Gas Station, you'll find the next Mr. Raccoon dancing on one of the stock shelves. He's also pretty easy to spot, especially since he's in your direct pathway through.

Statue 14 — Sewers

After getting fuel and powering on the generators (specifically the one across from camp that has a crane that drops a bridge), you'll be able to access a ladder into the sewers. Climb down and head towards what looks like a dead end on your map, and you'll be able to find Mr. Raccoon dancing in a pipe across the way. You'll have to shoot this one between bars, so don't stand too close.

Statue 15 — Cafe Oasis

Either right before taking the subway with a particular boss battle, or while you're searching for the military crates to unlock, head into the Cafe Oasis. While you're there, you'll see this Mr. Raccoon dancing in a display case. It's pretty dark, so don't rush while looking through things.

Statue 16 — Underground Parking Garage

While in the Underground Parking Garage, there's a room that you're able to go into off to the side. In that room, and on top of some boxes, is our next dancing raccoon.

Statue 17 — Cedarwood Apartments

After obtaining the key and getting into Cedarwood Apartments, you'll see this Mr. Raccoon dancing in a fridge. This little guy at least has the sense to be worried about all the radiation lingering here.

Statue 18 — Willis Tower

After taking a zipline into Willis Tower, you'll find this next Mr. Raccoon dancing among a decently tidy shelf, all things considered. This one is another one that doesn't try to hide from you.

Statue 19 — Subway Car

While you're underground at Ridgewood Station (typically on the way to get to the alternate side of the tracks), this Mr. Raccoon is dancing on top of a box in one of the train cars.

Statue 20 — R.P.D. Path

Before you start heading towards R.P.D., double back and head towards the wreckage. Among this rubble you'll find a lone, surviving Mr. Raccoon, dancing with miserable whimsy. Put him out of his misery.

Statue 21 — R.P.D. Operations Room

While you're in R.P.D., you have a decently linear path, one that takes you past the Operations Room. Make a quick stop in here, and you'll find the next raccoon dancing among the rubble. This one requires a little bit of looking, though, since he's also kind of in the wall, making this one another one you'll have to use a bullet on.

Statue 22 — R.P.D. Library

After heading into the R.P.D. Library, this little rascal (don't roll credits quite yet), is properly hidden in the bookshelf. There is a pile of books in front of him, but you're able to walk around and disturb the books, so disturb them, and then destroy the rodent for the trouble.

Statue 23 — Gun Shop Kendo/Umbrella Sign

While passing through Gun Store Kendo, you'll see an Umbrella Sign just outside. Admire the view, the haunting memory of it all, and if you didn't notice him (it's okay, he's a decent distance), shoot the next Mr. Raccoon that's dancing in the windowsill.

Statue 24 — ARK Hallway

When you finally get through the Loading Docks and get to ARK as Leon, don't head up the stairs immediately. The next Mr. Raccoon is dancing on top of some cases in the middle of the hallway.

Statue 25 — Operations Room

And finally, our last Mr. Raccoon Memoriam can be found while you're playing as Grace, once you make it into the Operations Room after dealing with all kinds of enemies. This one, thankfully, is left out easily for you, dancing happily right alongside the monitors.

Now finish him.
