World of Warcraft: Midnight - Where to Find the Rookery Cache

If there's one thing I've already noticed about World of Warcraft: Midnight, it's that it's given Silvermoon City the glow-up it very much deserves.

Am I biased as a huge fan of The Burning Crusade expansion? Sure, but it's still nice to see these beautiful zones get the love and care they've so desperately needed.

A great way to explore these areas organically is through the treasure-finding that now exists in the game. Best of all, this isn't something you can do just for achievement points; there are tangible rewards, which are all more important than ever, as some of them can give you housing decor items!

Sure, Xal'atath is a major threat that could potentially destroy everything we know and love, but housing and other vanity items, such as pets, are far more important right now. Speaking of pets, completing the Treasures of Eversong Woods achievement will grant you the Sooftpaw pet, and one of the required steps to finish this achievement is finding and unlocking the Rookery Cache.

Finding and Unlocking the Rookery Cache in World of Warcraft: Midnight

First things first: even though this is part of the Treasures of Eversong Woods achievement, it's important to note that the Rookery Cache is not in Eversong Woods proper; it's in Silvermoon City at map coordinates 24, 69. So how do we get there? Let's go over that right now.

The above map is taken from where you hearth into the Wayfarer's Rest inn. You're essentially flying a straight line to the left, so it's pretty easy to head to the map coordinates. There is, however, a catch, as you'll notice once you arrive at 24.69. It's not just about going across Silvermoon City; you need to ascend into the heavens above as well.

Hop back onto your mount and fly into the sky. Now, there's a chance you'll get disoriented like me. That's okay! The best thing you can do is fly back to the city, turn around, and then head to the Spire with the blue light.

The hard part is all done. From here, it's smooth sailing, as literally everything you'll need to complete this is all right next to each other.

Trying to open the Rookery Cache now is fruitless as it's locked, so let's work on getting that key. To your right, you'll see an NPC named Farstrider Aerieminder. She sells Tasty Meat; go ahead and buy some. To the left of the cache, you'll notice a Mischievous Chick, which would very much like some tasty meat. There should be an interactive dish below the Chick. Click it to feed the Chick, who will then drop the key.

Loot the key, then make the short walk back to the Rookery Cache to open it.
