With January almost complete, chances are you're already deep in planning out your gaming for 2026. Make sure you're leaving room for some all-timers, though, because Microsoft just revealed a slate of titles being added to Xbox Game Pass between now and the first week of February, which includes a couple fantastic games that might be fit for a revisit in 2026.

They join January's previously announced Game Pass additions, which include Resident Evil Village, Star Wars Outlaws, and Mio: Memories in Orbit. (Polygon's review of Mio: Memory's in Orbit notes that even this early in the year, it's already a lock as one of the best Metroidvanias of 2026.)

The one that's likely to stand out most is the arrival of Death Stranding: Director's Cut from Kojima Productions. The game that's often referred to as a big-budget walking simulator — unlike low-budget walking simulator Baby Steps — arrives on Jan. 21. The Director's Cut of the game was first released on PlayStation 5 in 2021, before coming to Xbox Series X in 2024. It contains a number of quality of life upgrades, along with new additions like building racetracks to speed around.

Elsewhere, Game Pass subscribers will soon get their hands on Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and RoadCraft.

You can take a look at all the games being added to Xbox Game Pass over the next few weeks below.

Other Game Pass titles getting updates before the end of the month are Grounded 2, Dead by Daylight — which is getting more Stranger Things content — and Sea of Thieves, with season 18 act 2 on Jan. 22.

Naturally, all good things must come to an end. Here's what's leaving Game Pass on Jan. 31.
