Xbox Game Pass July 2026 lineup revealed with Halo remake

Halo: Campaign Evolved headlines a small but solid list of new games

July has seen Xbox remove nearly 20 titles from Game Pass, but the end of the month is finally bringing some major additions. While the second wave of new titles coming to the service is relatively short, it packs a punch. This includes the day-one release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, among others.

On Tuesday, Xbox announced the full lineup of titles coming to Game Pass by the end of July. The second wave adds eight titles, bringing this month's total additions to 18. That's equal to the number of titles that left Game Pass in July. It would have been one more, but Xbox announced Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 would not be added this month as previously stated.

This round of additions includes four day-one releases. The biggest is undoubtedly Halo: Campaign Evolved, the remake of the 2001 title that began the FPS series. While Campaign Evolved won't have multiplayer (which feels almost sacrilegious for Halo), it will add three new missions. Pokémon developer Game Freak's action-RPG Beast of Reincarnation finally gets a release as well, and its Princess Mononoke-like vibes continue to intrigue. Beast of Reincarnation is actually an early August release but is included in the latest Game Pass announcements. The day-one releases are rounded out by extraction fantasy RPG Mistfall Hunter and co-op detective game Shift at Midnight.

The other four titles bring some hidden gems to the service. Hell is Us was a standout last year, stripping the Soulslike genre down to its bare essentials. Corsair Cove, The Planet Crafter, and Heretic + Hexen, the last of which arrives on Game Pass a couple of days into August.

• Shift at Midnight (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – July 22 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Hell is Us (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – July 23 for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass
• Halo: Campaign Evolved (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) – July 28 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Mistfall Hunter (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – July 30 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Corsair Cove (PC) – July 31 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Heretic + Hexen (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) – August 4 now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Beast of Reincarnation (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 4 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
