Borderlands Spin-Off, Total War: Rome 2, And A Bunch More Games Are Free With Amazon In March

Amazon revealed its latest 13 free games for existing Prime subscribers in March, and there are more than a few worth picking up. The first is Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep, a standalone spin-off version of the hit Borderlands 2 DLC, but it’s not the only decent pickup this month.

Amazon Prime’s March game giveaways also include the strategy classic Total War: Rome 2 as well as its more recent franchise successor, Total War: Three Kingdoms. Some consider Rome 2 a disappointing slog. Others enjoy the historical time warp and feel they can fix its shortcomings with mods. For everyone else, Three Kingdoms is one of the best entries in the franchise and will help pad out the wait for more news on the status of an eventual Total War: Medieval 3 release.

Amazon also recently added Control and indie 3D souslike Mortal Shell to its Luna streaming library which Prime members can also access for free. And the free games above, unlike those on PS Plus, don’t need an active subscription to keep being played. Once you’ve redeemed them, they’re yours to keep.
