Konami's Silent Hill 2 remake just crossed a major sales milestone, with more than 5 million copies sold across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. To mark the auspicious occasion, the publisher is cutting prices for the Deluxe Editions of the remake and last year's widely acclaimed Silent Hill f.

As part of Konami's Spring Sale, the publisher is offering discounts of up to half-off on the latest installments of the series, exclusively on the PlayStation Store. The deals will be available on the U.S. storefront until 2:59 a.m. EST on March 26.

The standalone Standard Edition of each game is not included in the sale. The deluxe editions include digital artbooks, soundtracks, and costumes. If you don't care about those bonus items and want to play both Silent Hill f and Silent Hill 2, the Standard Edition Dual Pack is the best bang for your buck, coming in at just under $30 each.

Konami announced five Silent Hill projects in 2022, including Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f. The final game of those original five is Silent Hill: Townfall, which will launch for PC and PlayStation 5 later this year. Back in December, series producer Motoi Okamoto told Japan's gaming weekly Famitsu that the team planned to make the series an annual franchise from 2026 onward. "We aim to release about one title per year, including both announced and unannounced titles," Okamoto said. "We're not sure how far we can achieve this, but we'll do our best as the producer of the Silent Hill series. Ideally, we'd like to keep the buzz around Silent Hill constant." With Silent Hill 2 now cruising past the 5 million mark, it seems like Konami's off to a good start.
