"Friendslop" doesn't sound like the most complimentary of terms, because it describes multiplayer games that have a little jank to them and aren't particularly polished. They usually revolve around one core mechanic, include amusing physics, and don't take themselves too seriously. But they're a heck of a lot of fun to play with friends; some of the most successful examples include Peak, Phasmophobia, and the recent Meccha Chameleon.

If you're a dinosaur fan, today's your lucky day, because Very Safe Dino Park is the next friendslop game that is positioned to have your Discord call in fits of laughter. Revealed Monday, the game comes from developer Panic Stations, who previously released Frog Sqwad earlier this month, Very Safe Dino Park is described as "a chaotic one-to-four player dinosaur park sim where feeding the dinos, cleaning the mess, and surviving the chaos are all part of the job." It sounds like it's essentially Jurassic World Evolution with a much more comedic approach.

You'll need to maintain a facade of competence to your guests, but the Steam description explains that behind the scenes, dinosaurs are getting hungry, guests are getting annoying, and systems are definitely failing. Not to mention the fact you'll need to feed your dinosaurs, clean up their poop, and even tranquilize some.

Try not to let the dinosaurs eat your guests, though. Or do, because it sounds hilarious according to the mature content description: "When guests are killed, they fall apart into different body parts like a puppet or a mannequin. There is cartoon red blood. These parts can be added to a biofuel generator, which converts them into electricity to run the park."

There's no confirmed release date for Very Safe Dino Park yet, but you can follow the developer's X page for updates.
