How To Heal Injuries In Mewgenics

2 days ago 2

Are you praying to the high heavens that you could heal injuries in Mewgenics? Your crazy cat combatants aren't indestructible and, if you're not careful, they could get badly mauled in fights. Our guide tackles this particular mechanic, including how injuries occur in the first place.

Note: Are you just as curious as a cat? You can find all of our other guides in our Mewgenics guides hub.

Injuries from catfights

Cats can easily get injured in Mewgenics if you put them in rooms with the following:

  • Rooms with low Comfort stat.
  • Other cats that have high aggression.
  • Other cats that are interested in mating with their partner.

When two cats fight in your house, one or both of them could end up with injuries. While the winner of the fight receives a stat boost, the loser will have a malus to one of their attributes.

Injuries from battles and events

More often than not, cats will get injured if their HP is completely depleted in battle. You can revive them but, if they get incapacitated once more, they'll suffer from yet another injury. This could keep piling up, especially if a cat's Constitution attribute is too low. It's also possible for injuries to occur due to poor outcomes from events.

Items that heal injuries

If you want to heal injuries in Mewgenics, you need to find a Super Bandage. This item is a random drop from battles or events. It can also be sold, albeit randomly, by Tracy at her shop.

The Super Bandage is equipped in your trinket slot, and each use removes one random injury. Give it to a cat that's suffering from an ailment and don't forget to use it in battle. Since it has four uses in total, you can equip it on another wounded cat so they can use it during a different fight.

Skills that heal injuries

There are also skills that heal injuries. One, in particular, is the Cleric's Revive spell. The default variant revives a body to +50% HP and cures one injury. The upgraded variant still cures an injury, but it heals the target up to its full HP. Moreover, you can use this on a downed enemy to charm it.

Note: Some classes, such as the Cleric, Collarless, and Necromancer have skills that allow them to get downed/incapacitated without getting injured.

Recovering from injuries while at home

There's a chance for cats to completely recover from injuries, as well as disorders and diseases, while they're resting at home. This is a fairly rare occurrence, though it's also boosted by the Health stat from furniture. Note that this applies only to the room where the furniture is placed.

That does it for our guide on how to heal injuries in Mewgenics. We hope you can keep your cats healthy for the long trek ahead. While we're on the subject, you might want to read about how to revive cats in the game.
